1990 Chieftan 38

This is an awesome boat! “Starboarder” is a Chieftain 38, built in New Zealand with a bulb keel, and launched in 1990.

This boat is super roomy below decks and its huge center cockpit (seats 8 people) keeps you safe and warm.

She sails very well, and the sloop rig is practical and easy to handle, making it perfect for single-handed sailing.

Despite only being 38 feet long, “Starboarder” has more volume than most similar length yachts.

Inside, there's a cozy V-berth double private cabin in the forepeak with plenty of cupboard space. The main saloon is spacious and perfect for entertaining, with comfortable settees. The U-shaped galley has lots of pantry and bench space, and there's a cleverly designed shower, head, and basin that separates the private aft cabin from the saloon area.

Powered by a 30hp Yanmar diesel engine, which has around 3000 hours on it. This boat has been very well maintained throughout its life, with only 2 previous owners. There is a thorough maintenance log of all work done.
