Mid 70's Vindex Sedan

An outstanding 2-year refit by her boat builder owner has produced an absolute step aboard and enjoy launch.

Every centimeter has had attention. She was already in good condition which is evident from core

samples of her double diagonal Kauri hull (available for inspection).

She’s a Jim Young design, but the original builder is unknown. However, her 2020 refit was so extensive that she now presents like new.

Her Nissan Diesel engine gives an economical cruise speed of 9 Knots. Simple no nonsense engineering.

The generous boarding platform and cockpit take care of watersports and sundowners. There is a live bait

tank built in, filleting station, numerous rod holders and rocket launcher storage. Walk through transom and

shower for after your swim.

The salon has an aft galley to starboard with a gas stove. Port is a settee that pulls out to a big single or cozy

double berth. The helm is equipped with a new Garmin Chartplotter/Fishfinder and completely rewired electrics including new gauges and updated systems. Forward to port is the head and huge double V berth.

On deck, as is everywhere else, she is in immaculate condition. All new ground tackle with Lewmar rope/chain windlass plus remote control.

The 2.1m inflatable tender is stored out of the way on the salon cabin top. There is plenty of room for more equipment like paddle boards.

The owner of this launch is a very capable boat builder, and it shows wherever you look. He may be able to assist with any further alterations or additions a new owner wishes to add.
