This beautifully presented 1989 Vindex 42 combines the proven sea-keeping qualities of the Vindex design with an exceptional level of cruising equipment, comfort and recent investment.

Designed by renowned New Zealand designer Jim Young and built by Ewen Guy, her strong, lightweight cedar-cored composite hull is glassed over and built for the demanding waters of New Zealand.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta 200 hp diesels driving through shafts, BOLSTER cruises comfortably at approximately 15 knots and has an estimated 950 hours on her engines. The engines were serviced just 25 hours ago, with exhaust elbows and outlet pipes recently replaced, while the shaft seals have also been replaced with serviceable units designed to be maintained in the water without the need for a haul-out.

But it is the depth of her cruising equipment that really sets BOLSTER apart.

With an onboard diesel generator, diesel cabin heating, watermaker, ElectroScan wastewater treatment, new alternators, new solar charging system and autopilot, she is equipped for genuine extended cruising and off-grid freedom.

Add the auto-tracking satellite TV dome, 48-inch smart TV, new lighting and new sound system, and you have a vessel that combines serious cruising capability with the comforts of home.
