40ft Alan Mummery Ketch

Professionally built by Sinclair Melbourne in Lyttelton in 1975 by true craftsmen. Triple skin kauri, fibre glassed over hull and cabins from new, teak decks, center cockpit with aft cabin, 7 berth. 72HP Perkins diesel, new shaft and prop. Recently anti fouled and masts out and rigging checked and replaced as necessary.  Furlex roller head sail, main and mizzen staysil and mizzen. I purchased Arohanui  from the original owner in 1981. It has been looked after and well maintained. Excellent sea boat and sails very well. This yacht is a beautiful looking classic and a pleasure to own. Located in Picton
