The Vanguard 40 Origin traces its unmistakable lines back to the original VanDutch 40 — a yacht that challenged convention with its low profile, clean surfaces, striking proportions and uncompromising simplicity.

Now that iconic silhouette returns for a new generation.

Every Vanguard 40 Origin begins with a completely new GRP composite hull produced from the original moulds, preserving the character that made the design so instantly recognisable while bringing its engineering, equipment, materials, and onboard experience firmly into the modern era.

This is not a restoration. It is not a replica.

It is the original — reimagined.

At 12.2 metres, the Vanguard 40 combines breathtaking European styling with serious performance. Twin Yanmar 6LT500 diesels deliver a combined 1,000 horsepower, with approximately 34 knots cruising speed and 40+ knots maximum speed. Range is approximately 300 nautical miles at 26 knots.

But performance is only part of the experience.

Air conditioning, premium Bowers & Wilkins audio, twin refrigerators, ice maker, galley facilities, bathroom with shower, convertible lounge and dining areas, ambient lighting, underwater lighting, custom bimini, Garmin navigation, bow thruster and automatic trim combine to create a yacht designed as much for entertaining and escaping as it is for driving.

An optional Seakeeper 4 stabiliser takes onboard comfort even further.

There is nothing excessive simply for the sake of excess. Every line has purpose. Every detail belongs.
