PMG welcomes Josh Weeks as our broker for the Opua/Bay of Islands region.
Josh has spent his life around boats. Growing up in a sailing family has given generations of passion and skill to his experience. He has competed in all the usual classes of yachts as a child growing up, and then on to include competition in Lasers, OK dinghies and keelboat racing amongst other classes.
Josh spent time as a sailmaker, and has experience in sales selling high end vehicles and art.
Josh currently works part time as a keelboat sailing instructor for a charter boat company and is passionate about inspiring others to take up sailing as a sport or for recreation. He has spent his life living on his yachts, cruising them around the country, and is currently preparing his ketch Ardea for offshore excursions in the Pacific. As a result, he is well versed in all boat systems and maintenance, and good boat ownership practices.
